George J. Vasquez, Attorney

George J. Vasquez joined Yarra, Kharazi & Clason in February 2015 as an associate. George’s practice areas include Civil Litigation, Bankruptcy, and Family Law. Prior to joining the firm, George worked for a public agency law firm representing municipalities on issues such as code enforcement, open meeting and public records laws, and land use. George also teaches legal writing as an adjunct professor at San Joaquin College of Law.

While in law school, George received Witkin Awards for Academic Achievement in Evidence, Private Labor Law, Constitutional Law, and Torts. At the 2012 George A. Hopper Moot Court Competition, George received the award for Best Brief and was recognized as a semi-finalist for Best Oral Advocate. His team received the Roger J. Traynor award at the 2013 Roger J. Traynor Appellate Moot Court Competition.
